Doris Taylor Smith

Doris Smith, 95, Kokomo, passed away July 21, 2016 at Wellbrooke of Kokomo. She was born May 9, 1921 in Terre Haute, IN to Loran and Etta (Haskell) Taylor. She had worked in the cafeteria at Delco. Doris was a member of Highland Park Church. She was a member of the Widow-to-Widow Group. Doris was a very social person and enjoyed playing cards, games, traveling, and living at North Woods Commons. She married Kenneth Smith, who preceded her in death in 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Loretta Patzold. Doris is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward L. and Connie Smith, Kokomo; her grandson and his wife, Matt and Shannon Smith, Noblesville; her granddaughter and her husband, Jessica and Dan Sprouse, Peru; her great-granddaughters, Dominique and Rebekah Sprouse; her great-grandsons, Jacob and Andrew Smith; and her son-in-law, William Patzold, Kokomo.
