Elizabeth “Beth” Anne (Helm) Huskins. 63, of Greentown, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 in her home. She was born July 13, 1959 in Marion, Indiana to Earl and Anne Helm.
Beth was accomplished in many different areas in life. She was a skilled dance roller skater, competing throughout the years. She was also a band and color guard member at Marion High School. She was an active member in Job’s Daughters. She enjoyed spending summers at the lake with her family, swimming and water skiing.
She worked at Olan Mills Photo Company earlier in her adult life. Beth was also a beloved mother who led Girl Scouts and was active with many other aspects of her children’s school lives, including working as a substitute teacher within multiple counties. She attended Ball State University and completed her Associates degree from Ivy Tech College. Her degree allowed her to have a career as a CNA for over 10 years.
She never knew a stranger and brought so much color to everyone’s life.
Beth is survived by her father, Earl Helm (Nancy), her two daughters, Sabrina Huskins and Sara Young, her brother, Roy Helm (Teresa),and two sisters, Jane Shaw (Jeff), Joy Helm, as well as her two grandchildren, plus several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George B. Huskins Jr, her son, Robert Shane Huskins, her mother, Elillian Anne Helm, grandparents, Brooks and Juanita Helm, mother-in-law, Mable Huskins, father-in-law, George Huskins Sr, and former husband, Terry Gayle Tutterow.
A visitation for Beth will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Beth’s honor to Cornerstone Assembly of God of Frankfort, Indiana, UCSF BCH Fetal Treatment Center at https://fetus.ucsf.edu in their research against non-immune Hydrops, or The Colon Cancer Coalition at https://coloncancercoalition.org.
With her caring and passionate heart, she was also an organ donor, sharing the importance of helping those you can.
