Ernest Steven Wolfe 84, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away April 26, 2026. He was born on October 13, 1941 in Frankfort, Indiana the son of Ernest Edwin and Marjorie Kathleen (Daily) Wolfe. Steve worked at Chrysler for 40 years before retiring in 2000.
Steve enjoyed coaching sports, racing canoes, camping, fishing, and traveling. He was a member of Wildcat Canoe Club. He was an active member of Bon Air Nazarene Church. He was a very dedicated husband and family man.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Lance (Jennifer) Wolfe; grandchildren, Foster Wolfe, Gage Wolfe; youngest son, Michael (Raven) Wolfe; siblings, Gail Cantrell, Lily McCrea, Joy Labeau, Allen Wolfe, Dawn Webb.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Sondra Wolfe; parents; brother, David Wolfe.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center 3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, Indiana 46902.
