
Evalois “Lois” Donahue, 77, Kokomo, died on December 29, 2013 at Saint Joseph Hospital where she was also born on June 13, 1936 to John Everett and Naomi (Hostetler) Stover. She married Loyd Albert Donahue on June 13, 1954, who preceded her in death in 2010.
Lois was a factory worker at Delco for many years before retiring. She also worked as a candy striper at local hospitals.
Surviving are a son, George Donahue and two daughters, Kay (and Steve) Bugher, and June Donahue and companion Jim Collier. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Martha Bugher, Kent Bugher, Tabby (and Kevin) Larimore, and Robbie Shuck; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister and dear friend, Marilyn Kennedy.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers.
A remembrance ceremony will take place on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, from 5 pm to 6 pm at Mt. Zion Free Methodist Church, 13048 S. 400 W., Kokomo, 46901, with Pastor Ranay Brown officiating. The family asks that you bring only your positive memories of Lois. The family would also like to extend thanks to the staff of St. Joseph Hospital for their great care and respect during Lois’s last few days of life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. Sunset Memory Garden funeral home assisted the family with arrangements.
