Geneva M. Taylor

Geneva M. Taylor, 94, passed away on July 29, 2015. She was born on December 27, 1921 to Simeon and Jennie Allison. On December 21, 1940, she married Everett H. Taylor who preceded her in death. She retired in 1980 from Delco Electronics with 30 and ½ years seniority.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, George Taylor of Logansport, Indiana and Gary Taylor of Vero Beach, Florida. She leaves three grandchildren, Lisa Pleasant (Carmel, IN) with husband Paul, Lainie Mellen (Galena, OH) with husband Rick, and Alan Taylor (Vero Beach, FL). She also leaves six great grandchildren, Rachel Pleasant, Gabrielle and Gage Mellen, Alexis and Autumn Koontz and Allee Taylor. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Margaret Conwell, and her son, Jerry Conwell.

She sold Del-Ray Nuts with Margaret in the factory after they retired. She belonged to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, the UAW Local 292, Hobby Club and Fellowship at church. In past years she volunteered at Americana Health and Howard Community.

A funeral service to honor Geneva’s life will be held at 12pm on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Norwood officiating. Visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com
