Georgine was born on February 14th, 1923 to her parents George W. and Oma Adkins in Jenkins, KY.
She is survived by 3 of her 4 children Tom Oaks (Ann), Shirley Pickard, Gail Cook (Doug), 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews from her home state of Kentucky.
She will be remembered by many for her kindness and generosity placing others, always, before herself. She touched so many lives. Anyone who came in contact with her, loved her instantly and knew they had a friend, or 'Mom' for life.
Georgine was preceded in death by her son, Larry Wayne Oaks, grandson, Donald Ray Oaks, brother, Eugene Adkins, and sister Peggy Tucker.
Services will be held privately at a late date.
