Grace Yvonne Roberts

Grace Y. Roberts, 82, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Grace was born December 8, 1939 to Daton and Zeda (Mims) Acord in Morehouse, Missouri. Grace married William R. Roberts on January 26, 1957. William R. Roberts passed away on October 4, 2014.

Grace worked for Kokomo Center School for 38 years and at K-Mart on Dixon Rd. for over 10 years. She went to Fairview Baptist Church for many years. Grace loved her grandchildren like there was no tomorrow and loved all her grandbabies. She loved to cook meals that brought her family together where they could catch up.

Grace was survived by her children; Greg Roberts, Larry (Tammy) Roberts, Jacqueline Widup, Nancy Randolph, grandchildren; Jason Roberts, Brandon Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Andy Randolph, April Bentley, Cyndi Baker, Sarah Karnes, Nicole Shietze, 17 great grandchildren; and her first great-great-granddaughter, sisters; Connie (Butch) Mumaugh, Lavadea Gist, Margie (Larry) Rybolt, Janette Garrett, Ethel Ridenour, Karen Harris, brothers; Daton Acord Jr., Gary (Chris) Acord, Rick (Kim) Acord, Paul Acord.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Daton and Zeda Acord, husband William R. Roberts, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Following the wishes of Grace, cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
