Hal L Hughes Sr.

Hal Leslie Hughes, SR., 77, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on January 24, 2023. He was born on May 4, 1945 in Knoxville, TN the son of Floyd and Edith Hughes (Rutherford). He enjoyed playing music in a band, spending time with family and friends, and laughing. He loved to joke and pull pranks on people. He loved going to church with his brother, Carson. He truly loved the lord. More than anything he loved his kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and all of his family. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Leslie Emry, Edie Hughes, Katrina Hughes, Lydia Hughes, J.R. Hughes; step-daughter, Angie Austin; grandchildren, Alisha Hughes, Corey Emry, Beson Douglas, Sean Douglas, Sarah Hornbeck, Linda Hornbeck, Lylah Alcalde, Angel Alcalde; great-grandchildren, Bastin, Marcus, Leonna, Mattox, Mattison, Dylin, Anna Rose, Nathan, Lilly, Chase, Andrew, Nicole, Annabelle, Harmony, Delilah, Kelani; brother, Carson Hughes; sisters, Anna May Wiseheart, Karen Henry He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Matthew Moore; wife, Deana; brother, Johnnie; sister, Doris. Visitation will be 12:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home.
