Henrietta Stafford

On November 25, 1952, in Illinois, she married Robert Stafford. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2015.

Henrietta worked at the Fuller Brush Factory in Illinois for over 20 years before moving to Greentown in 1971. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her garden. Her love of The Lord was apparent to anyone who knew her, as she was saved as a young girl of 12 years old.

She is survived by her step-daughter, Debbie Nelson (Jim); grandchildren, Victoria Grismore, Angela Barriera (David), Jamie Boldry, Janette Clem, James J. Nelson, and Tracy Kelley; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and two special nieces, Mary Sewell, of Louisville, KY, and Lisa Frye, of Illinois.

Preceding Henrietta in death are her siblings, Alvin Risen, Roy Risen, Clay Risen, Pauline Walters, Edna Page, Marie Karnes, and Emma Davidson; step-daughter, Sherl Wise; step-granddaughter, Jessica Wise; and dear friend, Mary Rice.

A funeral service for Henrietta will be held at 11am on Friday, December 17th at Ellers Mortuary Main St Chapel, with a 30 minute visitation held immediately prior to the start of the service.

Henrietta will be laid to rest next to her husband at Crown Point Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Waterford for their many years of care for Henrietta.
