Our Angel has gained her wings, Izola Beatrice Tinder, 77 of Kokomo, gained her wings at 12:10am at home with her beloved family around her. She was the 7th and last child given to Leola (Blackamore) and Richard Graham on June 20, 1946 in Kokomo, Indiana.
On July 20, 1984 Izola married the love of her life Joel B. Tinder Jr. She was employed at Chrysler,
Community Howard, and Lowes, but her favorite job was being a stay at home mother. If you knew her, she was the life of the party. There was never a dull moment when she was around. She loved to dance, listen to oldies but goodies and playing a good game of cards; Her forte was as a nurturer.
Izola left an abundance of memories for her children: Sheila (Eric) Jefferson of Wisconsin, Leola (Durone)
Brewer of Indianapolis, IN, Victoria (Jonathan) Clark, Joel B. Tinder Ill, Darla Pugh and Pamela Kemper of
Kokomo. Grandchildren: Kalea, Marley'Blu, JoeNae and Jonathan Judah Clark, Jav'aire and Jalisa Patterson, Joel B. IV, Jalen, Ciera Tinder and Raven Pugh. Her great-grandchildren: Aiden, Bryn and Cayson Tinder, Jamir Pugh and Tymiah Kemper. Siblings, William and Richard (Joyce) Graham, Vicki Whitfield and special brother, Cecil Webb Jr.
Izola was preceded in death by her husband Joel, parents and siblings Herman Stubberfield, Marion Jean Sawyer and George Graham, maternal and paternal grandparents and aunts and uncles.
Izola will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery in a private ceremony.
Our family would like to give a special thanks to Compassus Hospice Care and their staff during our time of need.
PDHF — If you know you know — Love Izola
