Jasmon enjoyed singing to the Lord and with those who enjoyed music, her absolute favorites being Gospel and Disney music. If she wasn't listening to music, you could find her making her own on the guitar, piano, and tambourine. She loved animals of all sorts including the comfort of her cat, Bella. Jasmon knew no strangers, she loved meeting new people and always adored giving new people the time. Jasmon exercised on a daily basis with her therapeutic balls and on her treadmill. When she was younger, she even participated in the Special Olympics. She enjoyed the culinary art of eating, some of her favorites being fish, chicken and BBQ!
She attended Bona Vista as a young child until she received services at East Cleveland Development Center and then continued her education through Kokomo Center Township Schools, Pettit Park and KHS. She also received services through DSI/BV at their Community Connections Program, where she enjoyed the staff and fellow clients, making new friends all the time. She had the smile of an angel, Covid being the worst time for her, unable to express her love through kisses. We were told the odds were not in her favor but Jasmon loved showing off God's work with walking, talking, and doing all the things they stated she would not.
Jasmon is survived by her parents Sterling and Stephanie Clark; grandparents Theresa Lundy and Obie R. Mitchell; biological sibling Jaylyn Akin (Dan); her sisters and brothers extended from God Renee, Chardonnay, Sheldon Clark; god brother TaCoy Hall; god cousins Navion Banks, Ronan Smith; great aunts Janice McDonald, Charlotte Jefferson (Jeff), and Kathy Tyree; aunts Lucretia McCary, Belinda Jackson (Tony), Glenda Fetterhoff (Tony), Jujuan and Latasha Mitchell; uncles Glenn Douglass (Elizabeth), Cedric McCarrol; uncles extended from God Tobias and Chris Lundy; and numerous cousins.
Jasmon is preceded in death by grandmother Jacqueline Douglass; grandfather Paul Lundy; god grandparents Ron and Cheryl Smith; sister Vivica Clark; extended nephew from God Kymari Clark; and numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles.
We would like to give special appreciation to those with us and to those who have gone on who have participated in the care of Jasmon through her lifetime and the blessings they bestowed upon her.
