Jimmy Lee Andrews, 92, of Manteno, Illinois passed away September 10, 2025. He was born on August 19, 1933 in Viola, Arkansas the son of Samuel and Minnie (Demoise) Andrews. On July 3, 1952 he married the late, Shirley Jean Fivecoate and celebrated 70 years of marriage. Jimmy retired from Chrysler Automotive after many years of employment.
Jimmy loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He grew the best garden full of vegetables.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Sheryl (Dick) Massey of Kokomo & Rhonda (Joe) Piker of Manteno, IL; grandchildren Lindsay (Nick) Day of Villa Rica, GA, Amanda Piker of Manteno, IL, Brad (Nikki) Piker of Manteno, IL, Marissa & Reanna Laughlin of Fort Wayne, IN, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Shirley; daughter, Regina (Rick) Laughlin and several siblings.
Private services were held at an earlier date.
