Joyce Lynn Mills

Joyce L. Mills, 67, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:50 P.M., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. She was born February 14, 1950 in Logansport to Charles Lowpasser and to the late Norma Gene (Walters) Lowpasser.

Joyce retired from Delco Electronics after 28 years of employment. She was a member of the UAW#292. Joyce enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and loved to listen to music. Joyce was a devoted Christian and enjoyed contributing to many charities throughout her life. Family was everything to Joyce. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her two sons, David (Angela) Combs and Jade Cook; daughter, Donnel Wright; father, Charles Lowpasser; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles Vernon Lowpasser.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Gene Lowpasser.

A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 4:00pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Barry Akers officiating. Family will accept friends during a memorial visitation, also on Sunday from 2:00pm until the time of celebration. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport, at a later date.
