

Judith Ann (Smith) Landrum, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2025, in her daughter's home in Kokomo, Indiana. Judy was born July 5th, 1944, in Kokomo, IN to Wayne and Betty Smith. She graduated from Galveston High School. She worked at Delco Electronics from 1968 and retired in 1998, Local 292. She enjoyed spending time with her husband traveling to Alaska, Central Midwestern States along with day trips. She had a deep fondness for her family, pets and wild animals. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making items for her loved ones. She loved cooking for her family.
Judy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Theodore (Ted) Landrum; Her children & spouse Christopher (Cara) Cripe, Kimberly Cripe Graves and Melissa Cripe Ungar; 5 Grandchildren; Heather (Cisco) Gonzales, Ashley (Tim) Dunn, Danielle (Jon) Hendricks, Ciara Ungar (Casey Crooks), Carrissa Cripe (Trevan Brown); 8 Great Grandchildren. She has 4 step children; Jeff (Bonnie) Landrum, Kelly (Lloyd) Thompson, James (Paula) Landrum, Julie (Derron) Hale; 13 Step-Grandchildren. Sisters; Janet Prather, Julie Bartrum, Jennifer Hipp, Jackie Prather. Sister-In-Law; Linda Smith and several nieces and nephews. Special mention to Aunt Cheryl Duncan and Cousin Carol Barker and special dog Ellie Mae.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gregory Smith. She adored her special dog Ali.
Visitation will be May 30th, 2025, from 12:00pm – 2:00 pm with funeral service following from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests check donations to the Toys for Tots. Special thanks to Guardian Angels Hospice, Comfort Keepers, Andrea at the Wound Care Center at Community Howard and special friend Sharon Hochstedler. Her warmth, humor and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
