Kerry Lee Land

Kerry Lee Land, age 64, of Kokomo, Indiana soared to Heaven on the wings of an eagle on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Kerry was born in Kokomo, IN on April 16, 1961 to the late Jerry Land, Sr. and Peggy (Wandal) Land.

In his childhood, Kerry loved spending time at Lake Shafer Skiing. He attended Kokomo High School and was a 1979 graduate. In his adult years, he enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, recreational shooting and racing. Kerry retired from Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).

Kerry is survived by his wife, Tina Land; children Kari Cannon (Land), Wendi Stutzman (Bill Alexander) and Stephanie (Shawn) Rosa; grandchildren Varesha and Sareyah Cannon, Savaughna Hannibal, Xavius Cannon, Jayceon Burnett, Kiley Mohler, Baily Alexander, Silas Rosa and Oliver Rosa; great-grandchildren Daylan Thompson, Vae'lah Cannon and Jovani Perkins; mother Peggy Land; siblings Jerry Land, Jr. (LeeAnn), Sherry Land Bowman; nephews Rob (Amanda) Land, Chris (Amanda) Land, Brian (Jen) Bowman, Brandon Bowman; niece Bonnie Bowman and many special friends.

Kerry was preceded in death by his father Jerry Land, Sr.; grandparents Ira and Dorothy Land and Oren and Nina Wandal; uncle Dick Wandal; aunt Pat Gardner and special friends Bob and Sally Johnson.

Arrangements are being handled by Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center 3400 S Webster St. Kokomo, IN 46902. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 2 - 5 pm at The Kelly Round Barn 6032 W 550 N Sharpsville, IN 46068. The family requests casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
