

Kimberly Diane Mooney, 50, of Kokomo, passed away at 6:21 AM Monday July 10, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born August 31, 1966 in Kokomo, the daughter of Robert Bell and Katherine (Crousore) Bell. She was a 1984 graduate of Kokomo High School. Following high school, she received a degree in cosmetology at Wright’s Beauty School. On June 20, 1987, in Kokomo, she married Michael Sean Mooney, and he survives. She was currently the transportation supervisor for the City of Kokomo for the last 10 years. She was a member of New Life Church of Kokomo for over 20 years. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, camping, embroidering, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of over 30 years, Michael S. Mooney of Kokomo; her parents Robert and Katherine Bell of Russiaville; one son Benjamin M. Mooney of Kokomo; two daughters, Katherine C. (TJ) Holliday of San Antonio, Texas, Bethany R. (Zachary) Jamison of Anderson; three brothers Terry (Patti) Bell of Kokomo, Steven (Tina) Bell of LaPorte, Phillip (Debbie) Bell of Kokomo; one sister Sherri Bell of Russiaville. There are also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday July 14, 2017 at New Life Church, 1803 East Vaile Avenue, Kokomo. Pastor Randy Blankenship will officiate. Burial will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday at the church; also one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Memorials may be directed to New Life Church – Impact Girls, or to the American Cancer Society.
