Kyle Logan Johnston, 32, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2026. Born on November 17, 1993, Kyle was a son, a father, a brother, and a steady presence to those who were lucky enough to be welcomed into his life.
Kyle graduated from Kokomo High School. He moved through the world with an open heart—someone who never knew a stranger, and who seemed to always have something kind to offer.
He was obsessed with shoes and loved adding another pair to his collection. He found comfort in all kinds of music, and he could unwind with a game of pool. More than anything, he treasured spending time with his kids, Zaiden and Jaxon, and he loved his dog dearly. Those who knew him will also remember the small, bright details that felt so unmistakably “Kyle”—including his favorite color, purple.
Kyle is survived by his father, Timothy Johnston; his sons, Zaiden and Jaxon; his sister, Britney Fisher (Anecia); and his nephew, Jace. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Seals; and his grandfathers, Ron Seals and Garry Johnston.
His legacy lives on in the kindness he gave so freely, and in the love he poured into his family, especially his boys. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Donations can be made to the family to help with expenses.
