Laurissa Lynn Lassiter passed away on February 27, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo at the age of 51. Laurissa was born on April 10, 1974, in Kokomo, Indiana, and was a resident of Kokomo, Indiana.
Laurissa was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She especially cherished her four beautiful grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life. Laurissa also loved being outdoors and felt most at peace surrounded by nature.
She is survived by her two daughters, Merry (Rodney) Ferguson and Summer (Jonathan) Craig; her sister, Jennifer (Gene) Dyer; and her four beloved grandchildren, Kollen, Kaiden, Georgia, and Colette.
Laurissa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, love for her family, and appreciation for the simple beauty of nature will always be remembered.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
