Leonora "Lenny" Jean Hulet, 87, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. She was born March 12, 1936 in Ames, Kansas to the late Leonard and Hazel Cyre. Lenny married Robert "Bob" Hulet Sr. and together they raised two children. Bob preceded her in 2000 and now they can finally dance together again in their eternal home.
Lenny was a member of the Del-Ra Nut Club, a club exclusively for Delco employees where she worked up until her retirement. Lenny was a master gardener, she spent most of her free time tending to her plants. She didn't have a favorite flower, she loved them all.
She enjoyed helping others. Any children or pets that entered her house would surely leave spoiled. She especially catered to her special dog, Bizzy.
She was a wonderful mom, wife, sister, daughter, "gran", and friend. She will be missed by many.
Lenny is survived by her two children Robert "Rob" Hulet Jr. of Kokomo, Indiana and Julie (Mark) Adair of Carmel, Indiana; grandson Nathan (Leigh) Muller; step-granddaughter Lauren Adair; great-grandson Ryne Muller; sisters Patricia (Robert) Mills of Kokomo, Indiana and Beverly Tannous of Plano, Texas.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lenny is preceded in death by an infant son Michael Hulet and an infant sister Gloria Cyre.
A visitation for Lenny will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
