

He was born May 22, 1961, and married Kelly J. (Landrum) on April 17, 1982, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Derek E. Thompson and daughter-in-law Kimberly Thompson of Howell, Michigan; one daughter, Megan J. Thompson of Galveston; one sister, Shawn A. Ploss of Magnolia, Texas; and one brother, John F. Thompson (Wyndi) of Kempton; father-in-law, Ted Landrum of Kokomo IN; brother-in-law, Jeff Landrum of Kokomo, IN; brother-in-law, James Landrum (Paula) of Kansas; sister-in-law, Julie Hale (Deron) of Kokomo IN.
He is also survived by two granddaughters, Isabella and Aurora Thompson, whom he loved dearly, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd E. Thompson Sr.; his mother, Rosie M. Abney; and one sister, Donna M. Thompson.
Lloyd worked for Kokomo Sanitary pottery until it closed it's doors, obtained his heavy equipment certification, CDL and then worked for Stellantis transmission plant in Kokomo until his passing.
He enjoyed his Pup Dup's (pomeranians), family and friends greatly. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
