 Obituario de Loretta Marie Switzer
Loretta M. Switzer, 79, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home in Kokomo while surrounded by her loving family. Loretta was born on March 9, 1939 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Albert and Mary (Russell) Breitenbach. Loretta graduated from Northwestern High School in Kokomo. On June 28, 1988, she was married to the love of her life, Joseph Switzer in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and he survives. She worked for Delco Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 1993. Loretta was a Christian woman and had accepted God as her Lord and Savior early in life. One of her biggest passions was rescuing animals, and there were always several pets that she would shelter in her home. She also enjoyed painting and crocheting, and was an excellent interior decorator. In her younger days, she enjoyed square dancing, which is how she met her husband. Most of all, she enjoyed being around her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Joe, Loretta is survived by her sons, Tracy (Penny) Hall of Peru, Indiana, Terry S. Hall of Kokomo, and John Bess of Kokomo; stepsons, Brian (Penny) Switzer of Kokomo, and Kevin Switzer of Elkhart; sister, Peggy Thomas of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren, Lilly, Jessiah, Zachariah, Joshua, and Rebecca; and great grandchildren, Jessiah, Elijah, Rachael, Jasmine, Lucas, Tyler, and Margaret Elizabeth. In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Bess. There will be a public visitation for Loretta at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home in Kokomo on Saturday, September 15th from 11-1, with a funeral service immediately following. Memorial contributions in Loretta’s name may be made to the Kokomo Humane Society.
