Lori Ann Harris, age 61, of Kokomo, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 3, 2025. Lori is survived by her mother, Patsy Floyd; her sister, Myrna Couch; her brother, Charles Ingram; her nephews, Todd Ingram and Ted Ingram; and her children, son, John (Cari) Houston, and daughter, Jessica Houston. She is also lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, whom she adored: Mia Espinoza, Jessaun Espinoza, Gabriel Houston, Elijah Houston, Benjamin Houston, Aubree Houston, and Christopher Palmer.
Known for her vibrant personality, Lori was the life of the party. No room was ever dull when she entered, as her energy and joy filled the air. Lori had a deep love for her family and friends, and she embraced every moment of life with an enthusiasm that was infectious. Whether horseback riding, playing the piano, or cruising on motorcycles, Lori did everything with a full heart and an adventurous spirit. She truly lived life her way.
For nearly 20 years, Lori worked as a heart monitor technician at Community Howard, where she formed lasting bonds with her coworkers. She often boasted about the friendships she made throughout her career, and she took great pride in helping others.
Lori's heart was as big as her personality. To know her was to love her, and while her physical presence will be greatly missed, her love and memories will live on forever. We take comfort in knowing that Lori is now in a much better place and that we will see her again one day.
A visitation for Lori will be held Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM. Lori will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will remain with us always.
