Marcia Joan Martin

She was born February 11, 1933 to Robert and Mary Eltringham in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Marcia was married to John Davin, Sr. on February 5, 1957 until his death April 15, 1976. She married Dale Martin on October 16, 1981 until his death November 10, 2016.

She loved dancing and reading, beautiful flowers, especially gladiolas, roses, and carnations, but mostly loved spending time with family and friends. Marcia worked at Delco in Kokomo for about 15 years and retired in 1993. She then went on to work for Eaton in Michigan for 12 more years and retired in 2007.

She is survived by her children, Jo Ellen (Gene) Northcutt, Bill Davin, Debby (John) Hollis, and Scott (Marcie) Davin and her step-children, Jeff Martin, and Karla (James) Johnson. Marcia has 17 grandchildren; Melissa Sweezy, Jessica Davin, Amy (Kory) Turk, Emily (Jesse) Taylor, Kevin (Cassie) Davin, Evan Davin, Justin Davin, Chelsea (Jake) Strawmyer, Aaron Sparling, Kyle Sparling, Dustin Farrer, Brittany (Jef) Witt, Monika Bitner, Shane Bitner, Roxy Davin, Jenny (Jason) Tomlinson, Janelle Oldmixon, and Justin (Sarah) Johnson. She was blessed with 34 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Marcia is also survived by her brother Robert Eltringham and sister Lahoma Wyant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Eltringham; husband, John Davin, Sr; husband, Dale Martin; son, John Davin, Jr; brothers, Charles Eltringham, Doug Eltringham, Thomas Eltringham; and sisters, Avanelle Eltringham, Mildred Eltringham, Janice Blackmon, Virginia Mills, Eileen Evans, and Mary Ragno.

There will be a visitation on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Burial immediately following at Crown Point Cemetery. Pastor Jesse Taylor will be officiating.
