Marsha Darlene Cornett

Marsha Darlene Roberts Cornett, 79, passed away on November 18, 2017 at her home, with family by her side. She was born to Jesse and Wilma in Kokomo, Indiana on October 11, 1938. Marsha married her husband of 34 years, Gary Cornett, on July 24, 1983 at Faith Tabernacle Church and he survives her. Marsha has been a long time member of Faith Tabernacle Church. She enjoyed singing, listening to others sing, and teaching her children to sing. Marsha also liked to play word search puzzles. She and Gary enjoyed traveling to Florida, Michigan, and Kentucky.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Gary; children Debra Roberts Grossbach, Randall Roberts, Donald (Kathy) Roberts, Lorinda Roberts, Sara (Mike) Frazier, Mendy Welch, Aric Cornett, and Kevin Cornett; sisters Cris and Dawn; grandchildren Derek, Ruth, Naomi, Anthony, Destra, Aaron, Brett, Brian, Danielle, Ruth Anne, Jonathan, Leah, Hannah, Isaac, Justin, and Trevor; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Marsha is preceded in passing by her parents; her brother Kevin; and her sisters Melba and Joyce.

Marsha’s family would like to extend a special thanks to their church family at Faith Tabernacle Church, Brother Dan, and Sister Rose, and many others.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM, officiated by Brother Dan Purvis. Marsha will be laid to rest at Kokomo Memorial Park.
