Mattie Sue Bryant,91, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away November 27, 2024. She was born on February 6, 1933 in Loudon, TN the daughter of Fred O. and Margaret Roberts (Jackson). On April 17, 1999 she married Sam Bryant who survives.
Mattie enjoyed reading, cooking, and traveling. She was a Sunday school teacher at the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Mattie retired from Delco Electronics in 1988.
Surviving relatives include her husband Sam Bryant of Kokomo, IN; one son, Terry Bryant of Kokomo, IN; five daughters, Brenda Shafer (Terry) of Gas City, IN; Linda Goodnight; Debbie Hickey; Pam Heady all of Kokomo, IN; Janine Crane (Steve) of Belmont, NC; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Billie Hunter, two sons David and Robert Melton.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Funeral services 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
