Mazie Bell Snow Prifogle

Mazie was born on February 18th, 1923 in Mascot, TN to Lewis M. and Cora B. Arnett (Jones).

Mazie married her first husband James H. Snow on January 29th, 1940 in Tipton, IN, and he preceded her in death on February 2nd, 1979. On March 15th, 1980 Mazie married Clifford Prifogle Jr. and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1989.

Mazie retired from Cabot Corporation in 1981 after 30 years. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Quarter Century Club. Her hobbies include needle point, cross stitching, ceramics, and many other crafts.

She was preceded in death by her first husband James, second husband Clifford, brother’s Dave and Ernest Arnett, sister’s Gladys (Stroup) and Mary Ruth (McCain); foster daughter Rebecca (Darold) Fortune; step-granddaughter Lora Stone

Mazie is survived by her son James M (Judy). Snow of Bonita Springs, FL, daughter Cheri E. (Joe) McKamey of Naples, FL, step-son Kenneth (Patricia) Prifogle, step daughter Judy (Robert) Camden both of Kokomo. Grandchildren include Dr. Julie C. (Richard) Snow-Herrick, Evanston, IL, Dr. Jennifer L. Snow, Boise, ID, Jamie (John Paul) Aliveto, Fairplay, MD, Curtis (Mariana) Skomp, Key West, FL, Chris (Rhonda) Skomp, Noblesville, IN, Brett (Judy) McKamey, Zionsville, IN, Beth Fortune, Nashville, TN, Lisa (Todd) Binns, Nashville, TN; step granddaughters Sara (John) Vazquez, Carey (Patrick) Kemper, Alisha (Lyle) Meyers, and Dusty Wade. She was very proud that she had twenty-five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Carrie Thomas, Julie McCauley, and Chaplin Larry Phillips all of Guardian Angels Hospice and the following staff at Reflections; Dixie Eakin, Julie Meadows, Robin Kirby, and Jamie Buckalew for all the compassionate care of Mazie over the years.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, or Guardian Angels Hospice, or Grace United Methodist Church.

Services will be 1:00pm Saturday September 2nd, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Sharon Walker officiating with visitation from 11:00am. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
