Patricia Ann Ray

Patricia Ann Taylor-Ray, age 80, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 12:25 P.M. at her residence. She was born to the late Dorvall Dane and Opal (Shively) Hooker on January 7, 1943 in Kokomo. Patricia married Rex Taylor in Kokomo, and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2006. Patricia was a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital for 27 years, mostly in in-home health care. She enjoyed fishing, camping, mushroom-hunting, planting flowers, and spending time outdoors. Patricia loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed macrame and home decorating. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 16 years, Rex; infant brother, Michael Hooker; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn (Fred) Sheagley; and brother-in-law, Duane Copp. She is survived by three children, Kimberly (Brian) Hendrix, Daina Taylor, and Glen (Lori Mooney) Taylor; five grandchildren, Nick Dobbs, Kayla Shelby, Christopher Taylor, Corey Taylor, and Brooklyn Sue-Ann Taylor; eight great-grandchildren, Austin Dobbs, Marah Taylor, Zachary Shelby, Kimberlynn Taylor, Kendall Dobbs, Lillian Taylor, Journey Taylor, and Mylah Taylor; sisters, Wanda Gruff and Beulah Copp; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service at Albright Cemetery at a later date.
