

Robert received a GED from Kokomo High School. He then went to serve his country as part of the United States Army. He was employed with Factory Kitchen & Bath in sales. Robert enjoyed hunting deer and fishing. He was a talented musician. He played the electric guitar, recently playing in a band with friends Todd Moore, Jake Fewell, Brad Scircle and Chad Howard. Robert enjoyed his Saturday morning ritual of having breakfast with his best friend, Tony Smith. He loved his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Robert was a member of Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church and was recently saved. He loved serving his Lord. He looked forward to attending church and Bible studies and was one of the first to arrive every Sunday. He loved spending time with his grandkids. Robert is dearly missed by his friends and family.
Robert is survived by his mother, Karen; father, Walt Carroll (Maryann); partner, Natasha Merriweather; son, Tyler Carroll; brother, Steve Carroll (Robin); sister, Lynn Wallace and her fiancé Rhett Richardson; grandchildren, Samuel Dean Carroll and Rowen Laine Carroll. Robert had a heart of gold.
He extended himself to help people, including being involved with raising others as his own including, Cassie, Journey, Wrigley, Gavin, Gracie, Ashleigh, Sydney, Chloe, Elijah, Chandler and Bryce. He willingly accepted Natasha’s children and grandchildren as part of his family, Shanita, Andrika, Andrew, Quay, Zavion, Zyauna, Zakiyah and Zakari, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
A celebration of life for Robert will be at noon Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, with military honors at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 1599 E. Sycamore St., with the Rev. L.E. Anderson officiating. The family will offer visiting hours from 11 a.m. to noon.
