He graduated from Western High School and worked as a chef in several local restaurants.
He is survived by one daughter, Crystal Dobbins, Arizona; one grandson, Isiah Dobbins, Kokomo; his mother, Lillia Zimmerman, Kokomo; uncle and aunt, Sherman and Gisela Stiner; cousins, Robert Stiner, and Bobby Stiner; and his dog, Sidney.
He was preceded in death by his father.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from noon until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
