Roberta Ann Taylor

She graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1961 and attended I.U. Kokomo. She was a member of the Tipton County Historical Society and Sharpsville Chapter O.E.S. She retired from Delco Electronics in 1996 where she was a member of UAW 292. She served two terms on the Liberty Twp. Advisory Board and attended Liberty Baptist Church.

On October 12, 1963 in Sharpsville, she married Dewayne J. Smith, and they later divorced. On January 21, 1994 in Tipton, she married Jimmie L. Taylor, and he passed on February 19, 2009.

She is survived by her daughter Kelly Smith, of Dublin Ohio, sons, Brian J. Smith (Sarah) of Cambridge, MA, and Mark Smith (Aimee) of Kokomo, a step son, Mark Taylor (Jenny) of Delphi, three step daughters, Sharon McGinnis (Kenneth), Charlotte Oberleas (Sid) and Linda Curran (Curt), grandchildren, Bailey, Claire Smith, step grandchildren, Jessica Hooley (Chris), Andy Taylor, Keith Huff, Stg. Kraig Huff USMC, Krista Huff, Kendra McGinnis, John Oberleas (London), Lauren Kivela (Jim), Zachary Curran, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brother-in-laws, and two sister-in-laws.

Services for Roberta will be Saturday January 13, 2017 at 1:30pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel; 3400 South Webster Street. Friends may visit from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Sharpsville Cemetery.
