

Ronald James Hill, 60, of Kokomo, passed away at 10:55 A.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Vincent Kokomo. He was born on September 11, 1956 in Tipton to the late Harold K. and Cecile L. (McCoy) Hill. He married Nancy Jane (Rogers) Hill in Kokomo in 1992, and she survives.
Ron was a truck driver for over 26 years, and was currently employed with Syndicate Sales as a truck driver for the past 13 years. He also served his country for 20 years in the Army National Guard. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and was known to have a great sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, and “Pappy”. Ron was Christian by faith.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Nancy; son, Michael (Angela) Hill; two daughters, Nataska (Craig) Stanton, and Ashley (Andy) Mims; stepson, James (Heather) DeWitt III; stepdaughter, Ginger DeWitt; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Al (Linda) Hill; sisters, Angela (John) Anderson and Victoria Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his baby daughter, Autumn; brother, Steve Hill; his parents; and “his boy, Max”.
The funeral service will be held for Ron at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, with Pastor Brad Swain officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Ronald’s family will be receiving relatives and friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, April 6, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., also at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald’s name to the Salvation Army.
