

Rose married her husband, Raymond E. Kidwell in Painesville, Ohio on November 11, 1945. He preceded her in death shortly after celebrating 70 years of marriage.
In support of the war efforts, she was Rosie the Riveter in WWII, making parachutes at Rayon, and a crane operator at Chase Brass and Copper. While working at Chase Brass, Rose met her beloved Raymond. Rose worked in the cafeteria at Ohio Rubber for 15 years. After that, Rose enjoyed baking fancy pastries, crocheting, and shopping. She was an incredible woman of faith, reading her Bible daily and praying for her family. She loved to write poetry. She also very much loved talking with her great-grandsons- they loved to throw parties.She loved when her sunshine walked in. She loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her son, Jimmie Ray (Rebecca) Kidwell; grandchildren Ashleigh (Robert) Ledford and great-grandsons Caleb Robert Ledford and Joshua Ray Ledford; Megan (Gary Jr.) Adkins and 8 great-grandpets; 1 brother-in-law Marcus Delbert Kidwell; and many nieces and nephews.
Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her brother, Carl Wiles, her sister Mary Wiles Martinchuk; 4 sisters-in-law, and 5 brothers-in-law, and their spouses.
Rose’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Nurse Julie and Nurse’s Aid Becky at Guardian Angel Hospice for all of their loving and compassionate care.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 9 at Main Street United Methodist Church with a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Duane Carlisle will be officiating.
