Rosetta L. Young-Cline

Rosetta L. Young-Cline, 73, of Kokomo passed away June23, 2018. She was born June 3, 1945 in Rose Hill, Virginia to Eck and Elva (Moore) Long. Rosetta worked hard throughout her life; she had jobs at Kolux, Sydnicate Sales and then the Kokomo Post office. When she was younger, she was married to Curtis Young and had two wonderful boys. Later, in 1989, she married William “Bill” Cline, bringing to the family 4 step-children. Rosetta was a member of the local VFW, Moose and Eagles, where she taught line dancing for more than 20 years. She also liked to garden and tend to flowers, but her special love was for her grandchildren. In addition to her parents and first husband, Rosetta was preceded in death by her stepson, Jeff Cline. Rosetta is survived by her siblings, Truman (Patty) Wright Long, Betty Long and Mary Griggs; sons, Tom (Cheryl) and Tim Young; husband, Bill Cline; stepchildren, Randy (Andrea) Cline, Tracy (Richard) Cline-Baber and Bruce (Tami) Cline; grandchildren, Carter, Madison and Kennedy Young and many more step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; special nephew Herman; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 28 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN from noon – 2pm, with services to follow.
