Shirley Jean Eads

Shirley Jean (Chenoweth) Eads, 83, went Home to be with the Lord on February 7th, 2019. Shirley was born to Leonard and Dorothy Chenoweth on August 23rd, 1935 in Kokomo. She was a 1953 graduate of Kokomo High School, then went on to marry Ted Eads on August 28th, 1955. He preceded her in passing on December 13th, 2007. Shirley retired from Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union. Shirley attended Highland Park Church her entire life. Shirley enjoyed traveling with Ted and her family throughout the Midwest. She loved to decorate her home for holidays. Shirley loved her family and grandchildren very much. Shirley leaves behind her son Ronald (Bev) Eads; daughter-in-law Theresa Eads; her sister Phyllis Schwierman; grandchildren Kent (Morgan) Eads, Ben Eads, Ashley (Drew) Nash, Andrew Eads, Erin (Sidney) Morris; great grandchildren Savannah and Evan Nash. Shirley is preceded in passing by her parents; her husband; son Roger Eads; and sister Dorothy Lamb. Friends and family may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 11th at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 12th at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Ed Vasicek, also at the mortuary. Shirley will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens following the service.
