

Shirley graduated from Oakland City High School. Shortly after graduating, she married the love of her life, David Hatfield and began her 30 year career at Delco. Shirley devoted her life to family and and above all, the Lord. She attended Four Square Gospel Church every Sunday and volunteered at the Love Center to help those in need. She went on GLOW trips with the women of the church. They traveled to several places including Israel, California, and Florida. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Curt) Paul, and son, Randy (Lisa) Hatfield; brother, Mel Phillips; grandchildren, Jackie (Jeremy) Shelton, Cassie Hatfield, Jamie Davis, David (Magen) Hatfield, Braylinn Sheefel, Tennille Paul, Madelyn Snow, Wyatt Johnson, Blayze Davis, Emily Campbell, Addison Paul, Aiden Paul, Blakelynn Davis, Zaiden Hatfield, Nova Hatfield, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, David Hatfield; mother, Ethel Phillips; father, Cleo Phillips; brothers, Kirby, Wayne, and Ray Phillips; and grandsons, Sean Paul and Jason Hatfield.
Shirley was the most loving person that centered her life around Jesus and family. She was loved by many and will forever be missed.
There will be a visitation for Shirley on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 12:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, In 46902. Pastor Terry Russell will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
