Teresa "Teri" Lynne Ashcroft

Teresa “Teri” Lynne Ashcroft, 51, Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born December 2, 1963, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Frank and Carol Deditch, Jr.

Teri was a manager at Fazolis. She enjoyed crocheting and tending her plants. She loved animals, and her family teased her about being the Snow White of the neighborhood. She was an ardent Philadelphia Eagles fan and loved defending her team. Her family was her priority, and she cherished spending time with her grandchildren, who all called her Momo. She will be remembered as a devoted daughter,loving mother and mother-in-law, fantastic sister, and terrific aunt .

Teri is survived by her three children, Christopher Lee Ashcroft and wife Samantha Lynn, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Victoria Lyn and wife Brittany, Avon, and James Ashcroft and wife Heather, Kokomo; parents, Frank and Carol Deditch, Jr.; grandchildren, Kaylynn Ashcroft, Slade Ashcroft, and Bentley Ashcroft; brother, Frank David Deditch and wife Ann, Kokomo; sisters, Kathryn Anne Tinder, Kokomo, and Pamela Wise and husband Steve, Greentown; close friends, Joel B. Tinder, III, Suzy Jojola, and Terrell Lee Harris; Aaron, Mike, and Brianne Hinkle, who were like children to her; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

The celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be expressed online at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
