

Thomas Scott Giles, 56, of Walton, passed away Tuesday March 28, 2017. Born June 23, 1960 in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Fredrick Giles and Elsie (Harden) Giles. He was a 1978 graduate of Haworth High School. On August 17, 1990, in Kokomo, he married Stacia Lee (Jolly), and she survives. He was employed with Kokomo Opalescent Glass for over 30 years where he was the current Vice President. He enjoyed playing the guitar, flying RC Planes, restoring vehicles, and riding his Harley. What he enjoyed above all was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Stacia Lee Giles of Walton; one son Levi T. Giles and fiance’ Jalene Jackson of Walton; two daughters Melissa R. Bowers of Kokomo and Alicia N. (James) Furman of Surprise, Arizona; two brothers Tim Giles of Lafayette and Fred Giles of Kokomo; one sister Patricia (Douglas) Hight of Kokomo; three grandchildren Savannah Bowers, Mikaylin Bowers, and James Furman Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; also by his son-in-law Cory Bowers on February 10, 2017.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 5, 2017at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Dan Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the mortuary; also one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
