Tommie Dennis Barger

Tommie Dennis Barger, Sharpsville, passed away at 10:31 AM Monday May 20, 2019 in Indianapolis. Born March 20, 1964 in Beech Grove, Indiana, he was the son of the late Tommie Barger and Dena (Cleveland) Barger. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He was employed as an electrician for Haynes International, Delco Electronics, and most recently Chrysler Casting Plant. He was a member of UAW Local # 1166.

Survivors include one son Christian Barger of Kokomo; two daughters Courtney (John) Mohler of Sharpsville, Samantha Pearson and companion Aaron Hayen of Kokomo; two brothers Randall (Cindy) Barger of Brownsburg, and Edward Barger of Greenwood; one sister Jamie (Steve) Raney of Greenwood. There are also four grandchildren Kaylynn, Kenzley, Jakoby, and Hailey; and his grand-puppy Jack. He is also survived by his caretakers Louise and Tomas Moralez of Indianapolis; Step-Mothers Kat Barger of Paragon and Julie Sandine of New Whiteland. There are also many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services with military rites by the U.S. Navy and the Kokomo Military Rites Team will be 1:00 PM Tuesday May 28, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. . Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association with envelopes available at the mortuary.
