Twana Fern Farmer, 76, passed away on January 6, 2018 at her home. Twana was born to James and Delia Farmer on December 31, 1941 in Clinton, Tennessee. Twana graduated from Burlington High School in 1960, and went on to retire from Delco in 1994.
Twana was a longtime member of Bethel Tabernacle Church of God, the Kokomo Art Association, and UAW #292. She was an artistic person in many ways, enjoying painting, photography, and writing stories.
Twana is survived by her siblings Alma Shoffner, Carolyn Burton, Virginia Bush, and Earl (Colleen) Farmer; 12 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Twana is preceded in passing by her parents, and one niece.
Family will receive friends from 12:00PM to 2:00PM on Friday, January 12 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM, officiated by Larry Branstutter. Twana will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden.
