Vera Beverly Ferguson

She was born September 28th, 1931 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Julia and George Neighbors.

Vera enjoyed her work as the director of Six County Child Evangelism and as a teacher of Sunday school. She loved the Lord and delighted in sharing the word of Jesus.

She is survived by three sons Leslie (Sheryl) Johnson, Rex (Wanda) Johnson, and Larry Johnson; stepsons Jimmy (Joyce) Ferguson and John (Lisa) Ferguson; stepdaughter Lori (P.D.) Stephens. She is also survived by her grandchildren Bart (Nicole) Irwin, Michelle Irwin, Tammy (Glenn) Smith, Billie (Raymond) Barker, Jessica (Desiree Conn) Bowker, Callie (Roger) Collins, Jean (Josh) Weatherford, Renee (Johnny) Lee, Zachary Stephens; great grandchildren Payton Irwin, Kylie Irwin, Bailey Smith, Kayla Smith, Emma Smith, Garrett Smith, and Jensen Barker, Abby Collins, and Austin Weatherford.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents Julia and George Neighbors, her first husband Harvel Johnson, and her second husband James Ferguson.

Services will be Saturday November 5th, 2016 at Ellers Mortuary on Webster Street at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Sharpsville Cemetery.
