Vivian C White

Vivian White, 94, born on April 3,1931 died March 3, 2026, in Portland, IN. Daughter of Orange & Blanche Achor of Howard County. She married Richard White on October 9, 1948, at St. Patrick's church. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2001.

Vivian was employed at Delco Electronics for nearly 30-years before retiring in 1993. She was an active golfer & bowler, loved to crochet, & donated many baby blankets to the Jay County Pregnancy Care Center. She also volunteered at the Kokomo Public Library and the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store. She was also a loyal member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Vivian is survived by three sons, Jerry (wife Karen) of South Carolina, Richard (wife Barbara) of North Carolina, & Joe White of New York, one daughter Christina (husband Barry) Weaver of Portland Indiana, six grandchildren, Joshua & Andrew (wife Kristy) White, Brian Weaver, Lisa (husband Derek) Buckingham, Ben Bacharach-White, & Vanessa White, and five great grandchildren, Carter & Brady White, Ellie, Gabriel, & Olivia Buckingham.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8th at Eller's Mortuary, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo. There will be a Catholic Funeral service at St. Patrick Church, 1204 N. Armstrong St., Kokomo, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9th, with interment and graveside committal immediately following the funeral at South Union Cemetery.
