LTC. William Lex Graham

LTC. William Lex Graham, age 91, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday April 16, 2018. William was born November 3, 1926 to Roscoe and Marie (Lewellyn) Graham. He married Charlotte (Crull) Graham in 1947 at St. Patricks Rectory in Kokomo. She survives him. William graduated from Kokomo High School, class of 1944. He then went to receive a BS degree at Indiana University Bloomington. At the young age of 18 William enlisted in the Army. He served for over 23 years before retiring in 1973. After his retirement from the Military he went on to work for the City of Kokomo as Business Manager of the Sanitation Department for 11 years. The family would like to extend a thank you to the nurses and Drs at Community Howard Hospital for their excellent care and compassion and also Comfort Keepers of Kokomo. Surviving William is his wife Charlotte, daughters Cathy D. Graham and Karin L. Boyd, grandchildren Austin R. Boyd, Adam W. Boyd, Allyson D. Boyd and Aaron J. Boyd. Those preceding William in death are his parents, brother Robert M. Graham and sister Norma J. Schriver. A Rite of Christian Burial will take place Monday, April 23, 2018 at Ellers Mortuary; 3400 South Webster Street in Kokomo, IN at 1:00p.m. with Father Dudzinski as the officiant. We will proceed to Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery by horse carriage where Military Honors and the Entombment of LTC. William L. Graham will take place.
