Bonnie Lynn Lisama

Bonnie Lynn Diehl Lisama Bonnie Lynn Diehl Lisama passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, with her family by her side. Bonnie was born on August 30, 1964 to Philip “Jack” and Elizabeth “Betty” Diehl in La Mesa, CA. Bonnie had lived in La Mesa her entire life. She attended Maryland Avenue Elementary school, Christian Jr. High and High schools. Bonnie graduated from Helix High School in 1982. Growing up, Bonnie and her family attended Brooklyn Heights Presbyterian Church and Covenant Presbyterian Church. Bonnie was very active with Sunday school and the youth groups. After graduation, Bonnie had worked as an office manager at various locations throughout San Diego, Ca., including the Marriot, Best Western Rancho Bernardo, Coronado Beach Resort, and Unishippers. When her first son was born, she opened her own family daycare. Later, she worked as a chiropractic assistant at Dilliard Chiropractic. With Bonnie’s love of children, she was very involved with various children ministries. Teaching Sunday school, SAM club, Angel Tree, Operation Christmas Child, and Christian Youth Theater. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bill Lisama, her sons, Cameron and Jaron, and daughter, Teagan. Her parents Jack and Betty Diehl. Brothers Russel D. Diehl and John Diehl. Sisters Melinda(Diehl) Johnston and Laurel Decenzo, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonnie will be missed by her Family and the many lifelong friendships she had made throughout her life. A memorial service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2pm.
