Christian was born on April 12, 1975 in Salt Lake City, Utah to devoted parents; John Paul Spring and Linda Lee Street Spring. He adored his four surviving siblings; Chantelle Spring Galloway (Chuck) of Ramona, California, Joelle Spring Bangerter (Aaron) of Murray, Utah, Michael John Paul Spring (Mary) of Poway, California, and Rachel Spring Boyd (Joseph) of Kerman, California. Christian was an incredibly devoted father and husband to his surviving wife of 15 years, Janalee Tanner Spring, and his three cherished children; Elanor Anne 11 years, Owen Benjamin 8 years, and Gwendolyn Rose 7 years.
After high school, Christian spent two years in Italy sharing his religious beliefs while simultaneously falling in love with the language, the culture, and the people. He met his future wife in Italy and they were eventually married years later on April 24, 1999 in Bountiful, Utah.
Christian held a B.A. in History with a minor in Italian from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctorate from Boalt Hall at University of California, Berkeley. Post-graduation, Christian worked for Freshfields, Bruckhaus, Deringer in London, England after which he moved to San Diego, California to join Exchange Resources / Foreclosure Resources to practice Real Estate/Transactional Law.
Both nature and nurture instilled in Christian an insatiable love of books and by taking advantage of libraries and wide-spread internet information he taught himself skills in woodworking, horticulture, culinary arts, photography, genealogy, and languages; books were rarely a source of escape but rather a method of self-improvement. To his children, he was the best Lego builder and story teller in the world.
