I will miss you with my whole heart and soul. I will miss our endless phone calls...A wonderful woman who strived to make it on her own and achieved it and succeeded. A kind and caring person. I knew her well...I cannot put everything down on paper...it would take miles. But, I'm so proud of knowing her, loving her and I miss her terribly. We loved her like she was our daughter.

Rita,  Words cannot express how saddened I am that you are no longer here with us. It's sad when such a wonderful person leaves us here on Earth way before their time. I will always remember and cherish our phone conversations and I will always remember your wonderful conversations with my daughter Lauren and how you supported and encouraged her in whatever she was doing. You made a lasting impression on her and I know she will never forget you and your kindness. I also loved your relationship with my own Mother, Ann.  She talked about you and your phone conversations all the time. You were like a third daughter to her. Whenever we were out shopping for a holiday she would always shop for her girls... Debbie, Karen, AND Rita...even if it was just for a set of dish towels for Halloween or a centerpiece for Easter. She was always thinking of you. I know she, as well as my dad, loved you very much and will never forget you.
And Rick. I just want to tell you that I am so sorry for your loss.  You were amazing these last few years and I am so thankful that Rita had you in her life to be there for her and to help take care of her when she needed it the most.

For my dearest sister Rita, what a strange and interesting life we lived. I wish we had spent more time together; I'm grateful for the time we finally spent in the end and am consoled only in knowing that you're in a better place and no longer suffering.  I'll love and miss you forever.. You will always be in my heart and a part of me.

Dear Sweet Rita,
You're gone before your time. I'll always remember you as a gracious, caring soul. And I'll never forget that at the end of a Real Estate transaction when I was your agent, you gave me a new washing machine as a closing gift to thank me for all the work I had put in. Such a considerate thing to do. Your style and taste were sought after, making you the successful business woman you were.
I am sorry for your pain and Rick, so sorry for your loss. She was lucky to have you at her side and in attendance right up to the end. Rest in Peace, Sweet Rita.
