

Walter Wszelaki, 85, passed away Friday evening, January 22, 2016 at his home in San Diego, California. Walter was born February 17, 1930 to Tomasz and Apolonia (Szubartowski) Wszelaki in Krasnik, Poland, the youngest of 7 children. He married his beautiful wife, Danuta Wszelaki in 1952. Walter worked as a tailor in Poland and continued the trade when he came to Chicago in 1963. In 1979 he moved his family to San Diego, California and began a long career in the aerospace industry. He worked for General Dynamics, Convair Division for more than 15 years until his retirement in 1995. Walter loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling the world. He was always the first one on the dance floor. Walter is survived by his son, Myron; daughter, Alicia; grandchildren, Jack and Jason; sister, Waclawa and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Polish Mission at 12:00 pm with Father Czeslaw Rybacki officiating. Burial will follow at El Camino Memorial Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Erickson-Anderson Mortuary in La Mesa. Rosary will be at 8:00pm.
