Betty “Jan” Stringer, 51, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Regency Specialty Hospital in East Point. Jan was born April 29, 1961 in LaGrange. She worked as an LPN for many years and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Creamer of LaGrange; a brother, Ken and Sabrina White of Hogansville; father, Dolton White of South Carolina; Aunts and Uncles, Judy and Richard King, Buddy and Patsy Thompson, all of LaGrange, Annette Bulat of Fortson, Ed White of Warm Springs, and Reba Young of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven White.
The family will be at the home of Judy and Richard King at 1105 Pyne Road, and will gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour to receive friends.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with the Rev. Richard King officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
