I've been thinking of you often. I always have though. I always loved you from a distance and always prayed for you and Patrick's safety and happiness. And even though we were never able to meet in person, you are still my big brother that I love very very much. I have always missed you in my life and I will never stop missing you. Even though we weren't able to meet in person, I hope that you can still come visit me from time to time. And know that you are always deeply loved and will always be greatly missed by me and our father.
Love always,
Kalene.

We remember Gabe back in his High School Days when at our house on Ft Campbell our daughter, Susan and Gabe and their friends prepared for the Prom. Gabe often shared that ear to ear smile and infected us all with his bubbly personality. To his wife and children please know that Gabe was very much loved and revered by all--he will be very much missed.

Gabe,
The hole you have left in our hearts and lives is deep and so very painful. I hold on to our last hug, our last kiss, the last text message, and the last love note you left me. I pray you will continue to send me signs, like today, to let me know you are ok and we are well looked after down here. Don’t eat too much banana pudding up there.
Love always,
Jessica and “the girls”

Of all places like Afghanistan, Gabe could make you laugh and keep everyone’s spirits up. I enjoyed the friendly banter everyday we stopped by. Such a positive energy to be around and a hard worker. I miss you buddy.

I will never forget his spirit. When we were deployed, he didn't always agree with everything that was going on but he took it all in stride and pushed through. He was goofy but serious at the same time. He was a good Soldier and a great person. I am proud to have served with him.

Giselle, Smitty, Patrick and all of Gabe's family. My heart cries for all of you. I watched Gabe grow from a young boy into a real man. We were neighbors with his family for many years. May God comfort each of you and give you strength thru the coming days. Our family loves you all very much. Rest in peace, Gabe.

Ava says she will miss her Daddy’s tickles, his crazy dance moves, and the funny faces he would make at her to make her smile. She said he was the best daddy in the whole wide world and that she is holding him in her heart until they meet again.
I promise to watch after and take good care of Ava and never let your memory fade. Please watch over her...
