Chip Tyrone Stanford

Chip was born September 16, 1971 in LaGrange, GA. He was employed with B.C. Stone Homes in West Point, GA. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Martha and James Singleton and Frances and Dee Stanford, and a niece, Avery Stanford.

Survivors in addition to his parents, Jerry and Sara Stanford, include his spouse, Kim Cowart; children, Joshua Vann (Rebecca), Kelley Hsu (Kevin), Jordan Vann (Alexis), Misti Cowart (Jacob), Katie Meigs (Stephen), Kristin Cowart (Andrew), and Tyla Stanford (Christian); grandchildren, Jeremiah Vann, Logan Vann, and Rowan Hsu; brothers, Robby Stanford (Sherry), Scott Stanford (Nanette), and Terry Stanford (Samantha); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and numerous special friends.

Celebration of Life services for Chip will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 21, 2021 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA with Dr. Mike Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Bowdon City Cemetery, Bowdon, GA at 3:30 P.M. The gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
