Mr. Hollis was born November 21, 1951 in LaGrange, son of the late Dallis Fred Hollis and Virginia Dale Barrett Hollis. He was a graduate of GA Southwestern College and a Life Loyal Sigma Chi (Eta Theta Chapter charter member). Mr. Hollis was retired from Flag Bank.
Survivors include his wife, Dr. Jane Dailey Hollis; children, Jon Hollis (Jeri), Alex Hollis (Heather), and Derek Olson (Kristine Duncan); granddaughters, Jenna, Ella, and Kara Hollis; numerous nieces and nephews; and feline companion, O.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with The Reverend R. Allen Pruitt officiating.
The gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Mr. M. Danny Hollis.
